DELHI GREEN ENERGY TOWERS

2013

Air conditioning in building consumes more energy & increases power bills. It is estimated that during lifetime of building a consumer pays energy bills which are 10 times cost of construction of building. Integrated approach in building design using various techniques will help to conserve precious natural resources. Passive cooling systems should be introduced to create healthy indoor conditions.

Creating an opening on top of stair shaft and erecting a timber structure to prevent water from enter, with louvers to allow hot air out creating wind towers on existing buildings. Placing a shading device in front of the building for cool air to flow in. On the next phase a longer vertical shaft is created with a turbine that will spin due to the raising of pressure of hot air.
